At Vesuvio breeding a litter of puppies is a very large undertaking.  There is a great deal of study that goes into the researching of pedigrees,
the matching of bloodlines, and a careful evaluation of both the Sire and Dam just trying to find the desirable and undesirable
traits before breeding.  We believe that if a person researches pedigrees they will find dogs that have died of  CANCER
or had HIP or other problems that are known not only to the Neapolitan Mastiff but many other breeds as well.  

One must also remember that no bloodlines are free of these problems but one tries to find lines that are clear as possible. 
Our breeding dogs have  been tested for Hips, Elbows, Heart, Thyroids, and  Patellas.  All puppies are sold with a written sales agreement
