CONSTITUTION AND RULES OF THE PAKENHAM PIGEON RACING CLUB INC.

THE NAME:     Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club Inc.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose for which the proposed association is established are:

(a) To improve and advance the Racing Pigeon.

(b) To maintain the quality of excellence, and to encourage breeders to produce 
stock of first rate racing quality.

(c) To disseminate among members and the public generally an increased knowledge 
of the great merits of the breed and the profit and pleasure to be derived from 
intelligent and systematic breeding, and also to promote good fellowship among it's members.

(d) To acquire and offer for annual competition among members of the club, challenge 
trophies and money prizes of a value commensurate with the position of the club, 
and sufficiently attractive to actively stimulate the number and quality of
competitive racing pigeons.

(e) The Secretary shall furnish any available information to the editor of the local papers
and pigeon periodicals thereby giving the club all prominence possible.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: 

1 (a) To follow the Model Rules of the Associations Incorporation Act 1981.

(b) To follow the racing rules and regulations set out by the governing body: Club, 
Federation or Association carting the birds to the race point.

2 (a) The boundary of the Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club be as per Pakenham Shire.

(b) For those prospective new members inside the Pakenham Shire Map with Radius
of Boundaries in Section 2(a) have to make a written application to join the
 
Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club and be accepted by a 2/3 majority of the club's financial
members at any Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club meeting.

(c) Prospective new members from outside the boundary have to apply in writing and 
be accepted by 2/3 majority of the club's financial members at any Pakenham
Pigeon Racing Club meeting.

(d) Consideration will be given to new flyers ineligible to join any other recognised club
or organisation through loft location.

(e) Members of the Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club cannot double fly with any other 
racing club, federation or combine.

(f) New members transferring to the Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club must provide a 
written clearance letter from their old club.

(g) All members living outside of the Pakenham Pigeon Racing Club boundary 
will not need to apply for renewal in writing for membership each year while living
 at the present accepted address. 

FEES AND RINGS: 

The membership, joining fee or any other fees including the cost of race rings will be
determined at the Annual General Meeting. Subscriptions fall due on the 31st day in
December each year and must be paid by the 1st of February each year.
